New Beginnings
An ICMPhotoMag Online Workshop
In late 2022 and early 2023, we had three cohorts of the ICMPhotoMag New Beginnings Workshop, which is a 6-week online course that dives into the concept of New Beginnings through visual storytelling using ICM photography. Through immersion, reflection, and self-expression, participants developed a deeper understanding of their own photographic and artistic processes as they explored ways to answer questions about how they might use ICM to tell more meaningful stories, bridging connections to both the inner landscapes of spirit, as well as to the outer landscapes of the world we live in.
The March 2024 issue is dedicated to following up with these participants, who will share how their projects may have evolved, grown, or expanded after the workshop, as well as where the experience has led them since then. 16 participants share how the workshop has helped them move forward in their ICM journey, how they may be applying the storytelling concepts in their current work, and what they gained most from the workshop.
